While in Egypt, Compass Rosie visited and explored the many sites in Cairo. Then, she sailed on the Nile River for eight days making many stops along the way to Aswan. She was excited to photograph the numerous temples and archaeological sites. She was guided on her way by the Egyptologist Tour Guide, Hassan Ahmed. Once she reached Aswan she flew from Aswan to Abu Simbel!
There are over 350 photographs, illustrations, and maps of the area and the images of the temples and everyday life in Egypt. You can see some of the lovely photographs in the slideshow above. Also, she visited the lovely Nubian village and learned to dance while making new friends. Compass Rosie visited the home of a Nubian family.
